Position: Senior Advisor Energy TradingPosition/Task Grade: G16Area of specialization: To manage Eskom’s electricity production by declaringavailable power plant capacity, compiling offers for produced energy and placingenergy offers into relevant markets such as day-ahead market, ancillary services tomaximise economical results for Eskom Generation.Department: Energy ManagementBusiness Unit: Production and SalesLocation: MWP

Declare available capacity
Manage energy production
Monitor, analyse and improve capacity declaration and re-declaration processes
Capture and manage contract terms
Provide service to power stations and relevant stakeholders
Minimum Requirements
Qualification(s):
B Degree/B Tech/ National Higher Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Economics/
Finance/Commerce/ Engineering at NQF7 with 360 credits
Related Minimum Experience:
5 years’ experience in electricity industry, power plant optimisation, dispatch,
declaring availability
