About the Role
Our client, a forward-thinking company in the energy sector, is seeking a diligent Junior Electrical Technician to join their team in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and components. Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks on electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults and malfunctions under supervision. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company standards. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and test results accurately. Support senior technicians in complex electrical projects and installations. Operate testing equipment and record data for analysis. Participate in safety training and uphold safety protocols at all times. Requirements A relevant National Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Basic knowledge of electrical principles and systems. Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Willingness to work in varying site conditions in Mossel Bay, Western Cape. Adaptability to a hybrid work model, blending on-site duties with potential remote support tasks. A proactive attitude towards learning and skill development in the electrical trade. Benefits
