About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Cleaning Operations Manager to lead their sanitation efforts in Port Elizabeth. This hybrid role requires a leader capable of managing on-site operations and remote team coordination, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across multiple locations. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cleaning services, including staff management, budget control, quality assurance, and the implementation of innovative cleaning strategies. The ideal candidate is an experienced manager with a proven track record in the cleaning industry, possessing strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic plans for cleaning operations to meet organizational goals. Manage, train, and motivate a team of cleaning staff, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability. Oversee the procurement and management of cleaning supplies, equipment, and technology. Conduct regular quality assessments and audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards. Develop and manage the operational budget, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and address specific needs. Requirements Significant experience in cleaning operations management or facility management with a focus on sanitation. Proven ability to lead and manage teams, preferably in a hybrid or multi-site environment. Strong understanding of cleaning technologies, chemicals, and best practices in hygiene management. Excellent financial acumen and experience in budget management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
