Our team of experts is looking for a passionate and driven Warehouse Outbound Team Leader to join the Absolute Pets team at Gauteng Warehouse in Kempton Park. If you want to join our team, these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for as a Outbound Team Leader: Responsible for assisting the Assistant Warehouse Manager with the Outbound functions of the warehouse i.e. picking, packing, quality checking, distribution, fleet management, etc. Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports/statistics to management. Ensure that agreed outbound metrics are achieved and that there is a high level of delivery from the team to achieve these metrics. Ensure that short picks are at a minimum and that the outbound team are held accountable. Assist with weekly cycle counts and investigate any inventory losses. IBT management and store communication – Comply with agreed SLA’s as per instruction from line manager. Provide guidance and leadership to the outbound team. Maintain a high level of discipline, accountability, and adherence to processes with the team. Organise and maintain stock and storage areas in the outbound area. Ensure that set outbound deadlines and targets are achieved. Adherent to agreed outbound processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and productivity is met by the team. Ensure adherence to safety rules and regulations. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
