Minimum Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Grade 10 or higher, or relevant underground experience.
- At least 1 to 2 years underground experience, ideally in platinum mining.
- Physically fit and able to work in underground conditions.
- Valid Certificate of Fitness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with drilling, support installation, charging and cleaning as directed.
- Carry and set up tools, equipment and consumables.
- Help keep the working place clean, safe and in good order.
- Follow safety rules, and report hazards and incidents.
- Learn the tasks of the crew so you can take on more over time.
