Letsema Consulting and Advisory is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Technical Buyer to join our team for a 6 months contract . The Procurement Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required for our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent negotiation skills, a deep understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers. Duties & Responsibilities Regularly analysing all stock and non-stock suppliers to ensure they meet price, quality and delivery parameters. Obtaining supplier price lists and entering into ERP system with supplier part numbers. Negotiating with suppliers for cost savings/ discounts/ volume rebates. Completing accurate and timely data entry of purchase orders. Generating and qualifying new suppliers through surveys and on-site visits. Maintaining Active Supplier List (ASL) and providing to GM for approval. Expediting and coordinating critical deliveries, emergency requisitions, and quotes. Acting as an interface between Supplier and internal departments regarding orders. Tracking and communicating order status. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience working in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience with National Treasury Regulations experience, e.g. PFMA, PPPFA, Treasury regulations, etc. ESSENTIAL Minimum 6 - 10 years’ Senior Technical Buyer experience in an industrial/mining/engineering environment is ESSENTIAL. Must have a relevant tertiary qualification. Good computer, communication and organizational skills. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transport. #J-18808-Ljbffr
