About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and trustworthy Specialized Goods Delivery Driver to serve the Bloemfontein area and its surroundings. This role requires careful handling and transportation of sensitive or high-value items, demanding a high level of responsibility and attention to detail. You will be responsible for the secure delivery of goods, maintaining required environmental conditions if applicable, and ensuring all client documentation is correctly handled. The ideal candidate possesses excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to manage the logistical nuances of transporting specialized cargo within the Free State province.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle suited for specialized cargo.
- Handle and transport sensitive or high-value goods with extreme care and security.
- Maintain appropriate conditions for goods during transit, if necessary (e.g., temperature control).
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Complete and submit all required delivery manifests, logs, and customer receipts.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type, with PDP.
- Previous experience in delivering sensitive, fragile, or high-value items.
- Demonstrated ability to handle goods requiring specialized care.
- Strong knowledge of the Bloemfontein and Free State road network.
