Purpose of the Role

Key Performance Areas

Leadership / People Management Lead by example, demonstrating Amrod's values and promoting a positive, productive team culture. Manage and supervise the production team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. Handle IR/HR-related challenges as and when required. Team engagement & development.

Productivity Lead department/s under your control in a manner that will ensure that targets are met within the given lead-time and at the quality standard set by the directors and management, and expected by our customers. Manage and schedule work in accordance with the Production Plan. Ensure machinery and equipment is looked after by staff & any machine defects are logged on the E-works system timeously. Day-to-day management of subordinates Manage rejects according to set targets. Ensure the teams are running as lean and efficiently as possible to meet our daily deadlines and targets. Provide professional advice in the event that expectations are not met. Plan, select, develop, and maintain resources and capabilities. Guide and coach your subordinates to maintain the leadership skills in Amrod Present new systems, process flows, and concepts to the team. Present information logically, accurately, and timeously. Spearhead and manage production/branding improvement processes. Maintain effective discipline in the department under your control. Ensure that safe practices are implemented and monitored on a continuous basis. Contribute to the success of the Production Department and the Company. Assist in any other areas of the business where your input and assistance is required.

Reporting Maintain and report on team performance metrics. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders, including senior management and team members. Develop and maintain dashboards or reports to visualize data and facilitate decision-making. Identify and address data quality issues to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reports. Collaborate with other teams to gather and integrate data from multiple sources. Develop and implement reporting schedules and protocols to ensure timely and consistent reporting.

Quality Execute and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet Amrod's quality standards. Collaborate with the technical team to identify and resolve quality issues promptly. Improve efficiency and cost control. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes, reduce waste, and improve customer satisfaction. Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to ensure products meet specifications and standards. Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality considerations are integrated into production planning and processes. Develop and maintain quality metrics and reporting to track performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure production team members are trained on quality control processes and procedures.

Operational Standards & Compliance Analyse production data and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor 5’s in the department and keep machinery/equipment clean. Ensure machine breakdowns are reported accordingly on E-works. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and company policies in the production area. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards or operational risks. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in production processes. Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ensure proper storage and disposal of materials, supplies, and waste in accordance with company policies and regulations. Promote a culture of cleanliness and organization within the production team and recognize and address any deviations from expected standards.
