Hussar leads from the front Role Description This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Security Officer based in Richards Bay. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, property, and premises. Duties include monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, enforcing rules and regulations, detecting and preventing unauthorised access, and responding to emergencies or incidents. The role also requires clear and accurate reporting of security‑related activities and immediate incidents. Qualifications Strong observational and situational awareness skills Ability to enforce rules and manage conflict professionally Knowledge of emergency response protocols and safety regulations Proficiency in preparing clear and accurate reports Previous experience in a security or law enforcement role is an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm in high‑stress situations High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are advantageous Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role PSIRA Registered #J-18808-Ljbffr
