About the Role
Our client is seeking a responsible and skilled Code 10 Delivery Vehicle Operator to join their logistics team in Queenstown. This role is crucial for the timely and safe distribution of goods throughout the region. You will be operating a Code 10 vehicle, ensuring deliveries are made accurately and efficiently, and maintaining the vehicle to high standards. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a strong focus on safety and customer service, playing an integral part in the supply chain operations of businesses in the Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
Operate a Code 10 vehicle for delivery of goods to various customer locations. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of all assigned packages and orders. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe and operational condition. Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and vehicle maintenance documentation. Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company procedures. Provide professional and courteous service to customers during delivery and collection. Requirements Valid Code 10 driver's license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP). A minimum of 2 years of experience operating Code 10 vehicles for deliveries. Clean driving record with no serious infringements or accidents. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Good navigational skills and familiarity with the Queenstown area. Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to job responsibilities.
