About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator with expertise in international trade to join their dynamic team in Nelspruit . This hybrid role involves managing the complexities of global shipping, including customs clearance, import/export documentation, and international freight. You will ensure that goods move efficiently across borders, adhering to all regulations and optimizing transit times and costs. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of international logistics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the intricacies of global supply chains.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate international shipments, including air, sea, and land freight.
- Manage customs documentation and ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
- Liaise with international carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Track shipments and provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues related to international transit, customs delays, or documentation errors.
- Optimize international logistics processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator , with a focus on international trade.
- Solid understanding of customs procedures, import/export regulations, and international shipping terms.
- Proficiency in using logistics software and global trade management systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, managing tasks remotely and in-office.
