Motor Assembler - Johannesburg This assembly function requires a suitably trained person to carry out functions from basic fitment to complex assembly procedures, which require the use of sophisticated tooling, measurement equipment and assembly machinery. Requirements: Grade 12 Certificate (completed). Proven understanding of assembly processes, technical documents and the proper utilisation of tooling equipment and machinery. A technical qualification is an advantage. Sound knowledge of statutory and compliance rules and procedures, applicable to a workshop and assembly function. A clear understanding of the Quality Management System and how it impacts the assembly function. Assembly of electric motors including brake motors, mechanical variable speed geared motors. Ability to read workshop orders, picking tickets & assembly instructions. Ability to use simple measurement equipment including verniers.
