Data Processor Internship

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for young individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience and knowledge in Data Capturing and Processing. In collaboration with the non-profit organisation Red Yellow Green Community, Van der Vyver Transport is offering a yearlong internship in the dynamic and fast-paced world of refrigerated transport. This is a fantastic chance to build valuable skills and contribute to a growing sector.

Interns will not only learn the tools of the trade but also gain a deeper understanding of industry best practices, develop problem-solving skills, and have the opportunity to contribute to real-world tasks that support the day-to-day operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately report driver working hours
• Thoroughly investigate any discrepancies and promptly manage queries
• Submit information for payroll processing
• Efficiently manage driver loads and meet load requirements
• Load management and verifying compliance with load instructions
• Report load success, once completed

Program details:

• The position will begin mid-January 2025
• Full-time, on-site Internship
• You will be required to work one weekend per month

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Experience with MS Office Suite advantages 
• Western Cape and/or Cape Town resident
