Job Summary Houston Skilled Consultancy is hiring dedicated and experienced Spa Therapists to join the onboard wellness team of a luxury cruise liner. As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver professional spa services in a world-class environment while ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Provide a wide range of spa treatments including facials, massages, body wraps, and other therapeutic services. Welcome guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner and explain available treatments and packages. Customize treatments based on guests needs and preferences. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and a serene ambiance in the spa area at all times. Ensure all spa products and tools are sanitized and replenished as per health and safety standards. Promote spa packages, upsell retail products, and support overall revenue goals. Keep accurate records of treatments and customer preferences for personalized service. Collaborate with other wellness professionals and participate in wellness promotional events onboard. Remain updated on the latest industry trends and techniques in beauty and wellness. Required Skills and Qualifications Certification or Diploma in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or Wellness-related programs. Proficient in various massage techniques (Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, etc.). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Friendly personality with a customer-first attitude. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus. Experience Minimum 1 to 3 years of professional spa or wellness experience, preferably in hotels, resorts, or cruise ships. International experience or multicultural exposure is an added advantage. Freshers with strong training background and excellent hands-on skills may also apply. Working Hours 6 days a week, rotational shifts (morning and evening). Approx. 9-hour workdays including treatment time and administrative duties. Onboard contract for 6–8 months, with shore leave based on itinerary and duty schedule. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications of spa treatments. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy. Capable of working in a fast-paced, multicultural, and team-oriented cruise environment. Sales and retail product knowledge will be considered a plus.
