Role Description This is a contract role for an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer based on-site in the Johannesburg Metropolitan Area. The role involves day-to-day responsibilities such as managing and maintaining Oracle Cloud infrastructure, monitoring systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance. The engineer will work closely with stakeholders to implement secure, scalable, and efficient infrastructure solutions aligned with the needs of the organization. Collaboration and a focus on operational excellence will be key priorities in this role. Qualifications Strong skills in Troubleshooting and problem resolution. Expertise in Infrastructure design, implementation, and optimization. Experience in System Administration, including server and application management. Knowledge of Network Security practices and protocols. Proficiency in Networking, including managing connectivity and performance. Excellent analytical and organizational skills. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certification are a plus. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
