About the Role
Our client, a high-end salon in Pretoria , is looking for a creative and accomplished Senior Hair Stylist to lead their team. This position demands exceptional technical skills in cutting, coloring, and styling, along with a strong understanding of current hair trends. You will be responsible for providing top-tier services to a diverse clientele, building client loyalty, and contributing to the salon's artistic vision. As a senior stylist, you'll also have opportunities to mentor junior staff and potentially contribute to salon management decisions. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cuts, styles, coloring, highlights, and perms for diverse hair types.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired look, hair type, and lifestyle needs.
- Provide expert recommendations on hair care products and styling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped workstation.
- Stay current with the latest hair fashion trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
- Build and nurture a strong, loyal client following through outstanding service.
- Mentor and guide junior stylists, sharing expertise and fostering a positive team dynamic.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional Hair Stylist .
- Proven expertise in creative cutting, advanced coloring techniques, and various styling methods.
- A strong portfolio showcasing diverse hairstyles and color transformations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of client service and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of professional hair care products and treatments.
