Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
 
  • Grade 12 with N3 Maths, Science, Electrical & Mechanical Trade Theory
  • MQA accredited Millwright qualification
  • 4 years relevant experience in maintenance of large electrical / mechanical installations as well as experience in SCADA, PLC control system as well as field control instrumentation advantageous
  • Able to read, write, converse in business English and good computer literacy
  • Candidate must already be based in Secunda
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
  • Repair of electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment
  • Preventative Maintenance on electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment
  • Adherence to planned maintenance schedules
  • Willing to perform standby duties and callouts for breakdowns
  • Willingness to work overtime should there be a requirement
  • Improve OEE for the plant
  • Increase plant quality and efficiency
  • Fault finding on equipment and ability to read electrical drawings
  • Housekeeping duties related to maintenance functions
  • Adherence to Safety rules and regulations as per MHSA
  • Adhere SHERQ standards as set out by management and systems administrator.
 
Salary:  Negotiable dependent on experience
