Summary Of The Position Piping Preparation & Drafting – take ownership of the preparation and drafting of all piping isometric drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards. Drawing Control & Documentation – manage drawing registers, revision control, and secure communication of updates to fabrication and production teams. Production Software Management – lead the process of inputting, tracking, and maintaining fabrication data within the company’s digital production and quality management software. Interdepartmental Coordination – liaise with engineering, QC, and production teams to ensure drawing accuracy, material readiness, and workflow efficiency. Quality & Compliance – verify that drawings meet technical and quality requirements, assisting in resolving fabrication or design-related queries. Continuous Improvement – contribute to system enhancements, workflow improvements, and the integration of drafting and production data to streamline project execution. Profile Educational background: National Diploma or related technical discipline. Years of experience: 2–5 years of experience in piping drafting, preparation, or detailing within fabrication, marine, or oil & gas environments. Technical proficiency: Skilled in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent 2D/3D design software. Computer literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with production or quality tracking software will be advantageous. Additional skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple drawing packages simultaneously.
