Role Purpose To lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality digital and blended learning experiences across the Momentum Group. This role is responsible for leading a team of learning designers in creating high-impact, scalable learning solutions ensuring consistency in design standards and digital learning best practice. This role combines strategic oversight, hands‑on design expertise, and stakeholder engagement to ensure learning solutions are aligned with business goals and future skills needs. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Digital Learning, or related field (Master's preferred). 6-8 years of experience in learning design. At least 2 years proven experience in a senior learning designer or team lead role. Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of digital and blended learning solutions. Solid understanding of learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and adult learning principles. Proficiency in learning design tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate, LMS / LXP platforms). Strong understanding of learning analytics and experience measuring impact. Duties & Responsibilities Contribute to and implement the group's digital and capability development framework, translating objectives into actionable plans that support both group-wide and business unit‑specific objectives. Lead the end‑to‑end design of digital, blended, and instructor‑led learning experiences grounded in instructional design theory and adult learning principles. Collaborate with stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to co‑create impactful learning solutions that are aligned with business unit objectives. Act as a strategic advisor on learning design, digital learning trends, and capability development. Facilitate design workshops and conduct a learning needs analysis across stakeholder groups. Establish and maintain design standards, templates, and toolkits to ensure consistency, quality and alignment with learning principles, design standards, and brand guidelines. Oversee the use of learning technologies and platforms (e.g., LMS, LXP, authoring tools, Articulate, Rise, Adobe Captivate) to enhance learner engagement and impact. Evaluate and pilot new tools and technologies to enhance learning effectiveness and engagement. Identify opportunities for innovation in learning technologies, platforms, and methodologies. Define learning project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource needs ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Review and approve learning designs, multimedia briefs, and content outputs to ensure consistency and quality. Establish and maintain quality standards for all learning assets and deliverables. Use data, feedback and metrics to measure and evaluate learning effectiveness and make informed decisions in assessing learning impact for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk requirements across all learning content. Lead, mentor and support a team of learning designers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. petencies Exceptional at stakeholder management and engagement with a proven and supported track record.
