Role Overview The Seminar & Events Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting NMG’s Retirement Benefit Counsellors and Financial Planners by managing and executing national seminar programmes — both in-person and virtual. This includes planning logistics, coordinating presenters and venues, managing client communication, ensuring compliance, and delivering a high standard of professionalism in all NMG educational engagements Duties & Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination Develop and manage the national seminar calendar, including Retirement Benefit Counselling sessions, investment updates, and corporate presentations. Secure venues, arrange catering, and coordinate travel and accommodation for presenters. Organise logistics for virtual seminars (Teams/Zoom), including setup, invitations, recordings, and post-event follow-ups. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with HR and fund administrators of corporate clients to schedule on-site seminars. Send invitations, manage RSVPs, and track attendance. Prepare and distribute attendee lists, sign-in sheets, and feedback forms. Content & Compliance Work closely with Retirement Benefit Counsellors and Financial Planners to ensure seminar materials are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. Print and distribute seminar packs and presentation decks. Event Execution & Reporting Manage time slots and ensure smooth transitions between speakers. Compile post-event reports, including attendance metrics, satisfaction ratings, and leads generated. Track event costs and assist with budgeting and supplier payments. Brand & Quality Assurance Ensure all client-facing materials are pre-approved and aligned with NMG’s brand and compliance standards. Qualification and experience Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Events Management, or Business Administration. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel nationally. 3–5 years’ experience in event coordination, client seminars, or marketing campaigns. Experience in a financial services or corporate environment preferred. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, and CRM systems. Strong organisational and project management skills. Professional presentation and client liaison ability. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events concurrently. Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Comfortable working independently and within a structured corporate environment Personality Profile Energetic, dependable, and solutions oriented.
