We are seeking an experienced Programme Manager/Senior Project Manager to oversee and drive the successful delivery of national-scale platform initiatives. This role will be instrumental in managing complex programmes involving cross-team coordination between our South Africa and India locations. The ideal candidate will be adept at planning, controlling, and communicating all aspects of programme execution, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and meticulously control all programme milestones, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards. Proactively identify, assess, and manage programme risks and issues to minimize potential impact. Establish and maintain a robust reporting cadence, providing clear and concise updates to stakeholders. Manage and facilitate programme governance forums, ensuring effective decision-making and alignment. Drive effective cross-team coordination and communication between the South Africa and India teams. Oversee vendor coordination and manage external relationships as required. Ensure seamless integration and delivery of national-scale platforms, with a focus on e-procurement implementation. Manage public-sector reporting requirements accurately and efficiently.
Required Skills and Qualifications 12+ years of experience in Programme or Project Management. PMP or PRINCE2 certification. Strong skills in risk and issue management. Proficiency in dependency tracking and management. Excellent status reporting and communication abilities. Demonstrated experience in vendor coordination.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with national-scale platform delivery. Familiarity with public-sector reporting requirements. Specific experience in e-procurement implementation. Skills
