Merchandise Planner Hire Resolve's client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Merchandise Planner to join their team in the Western Cape Agricultural Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing merchandise plans to support sales and inventory goals. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive the financial success of the business. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain merchandise plans that align with sales and inventory objectives Analyze historical data and current trends to forecast future demand Collaborate with buying and merchandising teams to ensure product assortment meets customer needs Monitor inventory levels, sales performance, and pricing strategies to optimize profitability Identify opportunities for markdowns, promotions, and new product launches Provide recommendations for the allocation and replenishment of merchandise Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate performance metrics and recommendations to leadership Requirements: Must have a B. Eng.
