Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in road and transportation infrastructure design
- Road alignment and geometric design
- Pavement design and rehabilitation
- Experience with bridge and associated infrastructure projects
- Stormwater and drainage associated with road projects
- Earthworks and bulk earthworks
- Preparation of technical reports, specifications and design documentation
- Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD or similar civil design software
- Ability to interpret survey information, engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Experience coordinating with civil, structural and other engineering disciplines
- Experience with municipal, provincial or major infrastructure projects advantageous
- Consulting engineering experience advantageous
Qualification:
- BEng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- ECSA registration advantageous, with Professional Registration particularly relevant for senior professionals
