The Role: Senior Industrial Engineering ConsultantThis role is designed for a problem-solver who thrives on complexity and can deliver tailored technical solutions across the mining and capital-intensive sectors. Youll engage in high-impact consulting projects, using advanced IE toolkits such as simulation modelling, business case evaluation, and systems analysis. Youll operate within a multi-disciplinary team and work closely with clients to guide decision-making and drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Bring 5+ years of experience in mining-related projects and 2+ years in a consulting environment Execute and deliver project outputs in collaboration with the Principal Industrial Engineer Lead client engagements and workshops with professionalism and clear communication Develop and implement custom solutions using existing technical models and templates Work cross-functionally with internal teams (mining, geology, metallurgy, project management) Travel to client sites locally and internationally as needed Prepare client-ready reports and ensure alignment with deliverables About You BEng or BTech in Industrial and Systems Engineering At least 5 years of experience in mining projects Minimum 2 years in a consulting services environment Proficient in at least one of the following: simulation modelling, financial modelling, operational readiness, mineral asset valuations, market-to-mine planning, contractor evaluation, or similar Solid understanding of the mining value chain and capital project lifecycle Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional Engineering registration is advantageous but not required Willingness to travel periodically (local and international) Solutions-driven mindset with maturity, humility, and professionalism Aligned to the values and culture of the organisation
