Overview Getclosure helps businesses understand what is happening online. Our team provides monitoring, insight and analytics services to leading local and international brands. We are looking for Briefing Analysts to join our team focussed on international brands and media. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling daily briefings analyzing key developments for our executive clients. Responsibilities The candidate will work as part of a team, and must be able to contribute to developing and growing a business in a fast‑changing environment. We are looking for a team player with excellent language and analytical skills, good news judgement, and a strong understanding of international news media and social media platforms. Requirements Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages are an advantage) Strong media literacy, and awareness of international news Ability to work to deadlines, accurately Experience working with economic, political or business news Experience in a newsroom / corporate communications / public relations environment Exposure to media monitoring software (e.g. Talkwalker or Meltwater) would be an advantage Willingness to work within a shift roster to meet deadlines Applicant must live in Cape Town Personal Attributes Curious – interested and well‑informed about the world around them Team player – excited to work as part of a focused, growing team Clear communicator – precise in their use of language Leadership – able to take ownership of multiple, daily deliverables Driven – committed to delivering excellent work, daily Salary & Location Salary – Market‑related Location – Office in Claremont, Cape Town Job Type – Full‑time, Permanent Education – Bachelors (Preferred) Experience – 5 years (Preferred) #J-18808-Ljbffr
