Our client is seeking an experienced Software Developer with strong commercial PHP Laravel experience to join their development team in Durbanville. This opportunity is suited to a developer with a proven track record of delivering quality software in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance web applications using PHP and Laravel.
- Write clean, maintainable and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot, debug and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements of existing systems and development processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant commercial software development experience.
- Proven hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
- Strong understanding of software development principles.
- Experience working on commercial applications and systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a development team.
- Willingness to work fully in-office during the probation period before transitioning to a hybrid working model.
