This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. Job Description Here is what you will be doing: The Senior Architect serves as a fully capable professional in an architectural design team. The Senior Architect plans, (including budget + resources), schedules, organizes, coordinates and executes the design work on any/all phases of development on small to medium scale projects (or distinct portions of larger projects), with regular interaction with an Associate or designated senior team member. Technical Excellence: Architectural Design, Manage BIM Model and Drawing production (Design Brief compliance, completeness & accuracy) Design co‑ordination (within Architecture & Cross Discipline), Design co‑ordination (within Engineering & Cross Discipline) Design Delivery (Design Brief compliance, co‑ordination, completeness & accuracy) Guiding and management of team & junior staff, Client engagement, Team Leadership, Value Engineering, Mentoring Qualifications Here is what we are looking for: B.Arch or BSc Architecture 8+ Years post graduate experience Professionally registered as an Architect with SACAP Additional Information At AECOM, you will have freedom to grow in a world of opportunity At AECOM, our Freedom to Grow philosophy supports flexibility and balance to help our people thrive.
