Insurance and Asset Management (IAM) is seeking a visionary Head of Enterprise Architecture to drive innovation and enable seamless digital experiences for our clients. We are searching for a seasoned Head of Enterprise Architecture to help shape our long-term technology strategy and ensure our systems, data and processes align with business goals. This opportunity works closely with senior leaders and project teams to define architecture standards, create future-state roadmaps and guide major initiatives. What We are looking for Experience: 10‑15 years of business experience in strategic and operations planning and/or business analysis. 10 or more years of experience in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations in a multi‑tier environment. Qualifications: A post‑graduate degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience. The TOGAF certification portfolio would be required. As the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will: Develop and implement an IT operating model and framework aligned to group strategy. Drive horizontal alignment and adoption across the enterprise. Oversee IT governance, security, and compliance to safeguard critical information assets. Build and maintain a holistic view of systems, processes, and IT assets. Champion continuous improvement and innovation across technology functions. Advanced IT knowledge and strategic planning skills. Strong business acumen and decision‑making ability. Proven track record in governance, risk management, and process optimization. Proven track record of driving and leading large‑scale architectural projects throughout an entire business through to completion. Robust knowledge of Solution Design & Architecture. Experience in reviewing and selecting Technical and Applications Architectures solutions. Familiarity with EA tools, graphical modelling approaches and repository management. Ability working within pressurised environments whilst making decisive decisions. Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, such as generative AI and its applications. Strong experience working with diverse technology platforms. Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at enterprise level. Enterprise Architecture experience, utilising TOGAF or equivalent methodology.
