Automotive Dealership is seeking to employ a Buyer with sound experience within the automotive industry. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUZUKI

Qualifications and Experience Required
• Matric with pure mathematics HG
• 3 years’ experience in a Buyer / Purchasing control environment in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry
• Finance / Supply Chain knowledge
• Advanced Excel skills, VLook-Ups and Pivot Tables

Responsibilities:
• Manage raw material and competent stock
• Manage supplier performance
• Daily follow ups, backorders, and quotes, maintain spreadsheet with ETA dates, stock received and stock on backorder.
• Negotiate prices and sourcing of new suppliers.
• Request 3 quotes before placing orders
• Placing orders with suppliers
• Order stock for export shipments and keep record on stock
• Levels weekly
• Communicating with supplier should there be any problem with part shortages for shipment.
• Sort out export shipment queries (e.g. disputes, disagreements)
• GPIRS orders, new parts (launch parts) samples that need to be shipped to different countries for approval.
• Updating of daily stock sheets to keep track of the packaging of the shipment.
