About the Role
Our client is seeking a versatile and talented Multimedia Artist to contribute to exciting projects in Durban. This role involves creating engaging visual content across a variety of media, including animation, video, and digital graphics. You will work closely with content creators and marketing specialists to bring concepts to life, ensuring visual appeal and effective communication. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in multiple artistic software packages, thriving in a project-based environment that encourages experimentation and artistic expression.
Key Responsibilities
Create high-quality animations, motion graphics, and video edits for various digital platforms. Design and produce engaging visual assets, including illustrations, infographics, and social media graphics. Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and storyboards for multimedia projects. Ensure all multimedia content aligns with brand aesthetics and project requirements. Manage project timelines and deliver final assets within agreed-upon deadlines. Requirements Proven experience as a Multimedia Artist or similar role, with a strong portfolio. Proficiency in animation software (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator). Familiarity with 3 D modeling and rendering software is a plus. Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and design principles. Excellent time management and organizational skills for project-based work.
