Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Chemical Process Engineer to join their growing team in Bloemfontein. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of chemical processes and equipment.
- Support senior engineers in data collection, analysis, and troubleshooting of process issues.
- Participate in pilot plant trials and process scale-up activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, process documentation, and safety assessments.
- Learn and apply principles of process control and optimization to improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including R&D and operations, on various projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- 0-3 years of experience in the chemical industry or relevant internships.
- Basic understanding of chemical engineering principles, including thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
- Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
