Position Title: Junior LPR AnalystReports To: ITOC ManagerLocation: FSG Head Office, HelderkruinPosition Overview: The Junior LPR Analyst plays a key role in the strategic deployment, maintenance of databases and monitoring of License Plate Recognition (LPR) camera systems to assist in crime prevention, detection, and operational success. This role requires a focused, driven individual who can operate both independently and within a team, while maintaining a high attention to detail under pressure. Key Responsibilities: Operate LPR systems to monitor, analyse, and escalate relevant information to the SAPS and response teams (both internally and externally). Strategically use LPR camera data to support investigations and arrests. Conduct ongoing monitoring and analysis of vehicle movements and suspect activity. Prepare reports and provide real-time feedback to operational teams. Meticulously gather and store information to aid in investigations and prosecution. Assist in maintaining the integrity of LPR-related data. Audit and maintain LPR databases across various platforms. Network within the industry to build intelligence and operational relationships. Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure effective information flow. Minimum Requirements: PSIRA Grade A certification. Strong task orientation with a results-driven approach. Excellent leadership capabilities and ability to manage small teams. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Excellent Administrative skills. Strong networking skills. Excellent communication skills. Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure. High attention to detail and dedication to accuracy. Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information. Preferred Experience: Previous experience in the use and management of LPR-related systems. Previous experience as an analyst.
