Position Requirements: Between 5 - 10 years' experience. Must be registered as a Pr. Eng/Tech at ECSA. Software skills: Prokon, Robot and Revit Position Responsibilities Will be responsible for expanding the structural team It will be expected of the candidate to actively engage with existing and new clients to win more work Lead the structural team and provide guidance Must be able to work autonomously Take ownership of the structures team Communicate with management regarding progress Take initiative and identify areas where his/her structural team can improve Lead by example. Typical skill set required: Technically strong, understand first principle calculations, execute/oversee designs and have attention to detail. Understand BOQs and how to populate BOQs Be able to do a project schedule, understand the interconnectivity of the various activities and maintain the schedule for structural works. Must have experience in most of the following: Apply the loading code, advantageous to have experience in crane and seismic loading. Structural steel design, including design of steel connections Check drawings and bending schedules Masonry design The position will be office based. The candidate will be expected to travel. The salary package will be based on the experience of the individual and will be market related. Must have a valid driver's license and own transport.
