We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer for a contract position supporting critical systems in the investment and finance sector. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a high‑performance environment and can contribute immediately to delivery and handover efforts. Design and implement Oracle database structures, including schemas, tables, and stored procedures. Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL code. Tune database performance through query optimization and indexing strategies. Monitor and manage database performance, availability, and security using Oracle tools. Perform regular database maintenance, including backups, restores, and version upgrades. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues quickly and effectively. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to meet project goals. Lead database‑related development work within larger technical projects. Create and maintain documentation for all development and operational processes. Stay updated on Oracle technologies and propose improvements for system performance and scalability. Mentor junior developers and support knowledge transfer during handover phases.
