About the Role
Our client, a popular and friendly hair salon located in Queenstown , is seeking a talented and versatile Professional Hairdresser to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele, providing a full spectrum of hairdressing services from cuts and styling to coloring and treatments. You will contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every client leaves satisfied with their new look in the Eastern Cape.
Key Responsibilities
Perform expert hair cutting, styling, blow-drying, and setting for all hair types and lengths. Provide professional hair coloring services, including tints, highlights, lowlights, and color corrections. Conduct client consultations to understand their desires, offer style advice, and ensure services meet their expectations. Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and maintained. Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and products through continuous learning and industry engagement. Requirements A recognized hairdressing qualification and relevant certifications are essential. Minimum of 3 years of practical experience as a qualified Hairdresser. Proficiency in various cutting techniques for both men's and women's hair. Strong knowledge of hair coloring principles and application methods. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
