Our client in the Logistics / Transport industry seeks to employ a seasoned Regional Human Resource Manager who will be responsible for HR functions of the North region. If you meet the requirements, apply now. Job Description Assist in developing and maintaining HR policies and internal procedures & processes, ensuring compliance and providing training. Responsible for recruitment, selection and placement of staff in coordination with the recruitment department and in line with the Employment Equity plan. Coordinate training and development of staff. Compile the HR department budget according to HR standards and BU's manpower budget, and analyze monthly variances in managing these. Conduct research and develop short‑ and medium‑term plans for the region’s HR functionality. Maintain personnel records and administer conditions and benefits related to the diversified group governed by different Bargaining Councils. Develop and implement Human Resources communication strategies. Process & procedures and policies within the framework of Personnel Services. Qualifications and Skills Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management. Post‑degree qualification will be an added advantage. Minimum of 7 years relevant HR experience in a unionized HR environment. Must come from transport or motor industry. Minimum of five years’ experience in a managerial position. Knowledge of computerized systems such as HR, Payroll and Time & Attendance systems. Knowledge of applicable legislation and Main Agreements. Suitable candidates will be contacted.
