Technical Sales Specialist

Requirements A recognised Mechanical or Instrumentation apprenticeship will be highly advantageous. Technical qualifications such as N6 / N-Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are beneficial. 5+ years proven experience as a TSS , ideally in the mining or valve industry. Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales metrics. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong strategic thinking and a results-driven mindset. Willingness to travel within the region as required. Minimum Matric (Grade 12) with Maths/Science. Valve industry experience will be a significant advantage. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement effective regional sales strategies in collaboration with the RM. Analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities within the Rustenburg area. Monitor and manage overall regional sales performance. Maintain a minimum of 5 years sales experience with clients such as Anglo (Valterra), Implats, and additional Rustenburg-area mining operations. Leverage strong relationships on various mining plants with solid knowledge of mining systems and procurement processes. Assess client flow-related applications and recommend long-term TCO-driven solutions . Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Conduct sales calls, technical support, demonstrations, and client presentations confidently. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure service excellence. Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and analytics for the RM. Represent the company at regional events, trade shows, and industry conferences. Must reside within 3050 km of key clients in the Rustenburg region. Benefits Competitive basic salary (negotiable).
