Senior Stockbroking Operations profile sought to join a successful team. Great opportunity to work closely with the Chief Operating Officer of this team in an exciting phase. Ideal candidate is someone with a data analyst or business analyst background within stockbroking or investments and is passionate about automation, data analytics and digitisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Automation of processes and business analysis working with internal stakeholders
  • Project lead on testing and implementation of new solutions
  • Perform analytics, interpret data, co-ordinate metrics for senior management
  • Collaboration with technology teams and business stakeholders
  • Root cause analysis of process breaches
  • System and user testing
  • Document and develop business processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a completed degree BComm / BBusSci / BCompt or similar
  • Completed or open to doing JSE and RPE exams as required for this role
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a stockbroking environment or similar asset management team
  • Must have experience and solid understanding of financial instruments and financial markets
  • Experience in data management and good experience working with databases
  • Ability to work on and natural aptitude for working on systems and tools such as Advanced Excel, exchange systems, BDA, Mecras, Nutron and Swordfish, Filezilla or similar
  • High attention to detail and analytical
  • Tech savvy with a keen interest in automation tools and digital technologies
  • Accountability and ability to be flexible and take ownership
  • Highly accurate with excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Goal driven with flexibility to work extra hours as required
