About BlueBridge One Our company is a leading Oracle NetSuite EMEA Solution Provider with over 20 years' experience in delivering ERP cloud business management systems. Hiring Location Weybridge (UK), Cape Town, South Africa. This role is Cape Town based, as majority of the finance team is based in Cape Town, working in the office 3 days a week. Responsibilities Take complete ownership of maintaining an accurate and recoverable debtors book for the group which includes UK & SA customers. Mid and month end customer billing (consulting customers, Oracle NetSuite & on charging consultant customer project expenses) & issue customer statements. Record customer receipts on NetSuite, our accounting system & issue credit notes after obtaining necessary approvals. Assist with cash flow planning by maintaining the debtor collection section of the cash flow spreadsheet daily. Confirm debtor receipt dates with customers and analyse payment patterns. Build relationships with customers and actively chase overdue debt. Deal with customer issues in a timely manner to ensure prompt collection critical to cash flow. Collaborate with colleagues throughout the business. Revise and implement procedures for accelerating cash collection & proactively monitor & reduce credit risk. Monthly reconcile Oracle NetSuite balance with our accounting system; clean up accounts receivable ledger where necessary. Process Oracle NetSuite revenue share sales orders. Monthly reconcile invoice discounting debtors ledger to the company’s debtors ledger. Deal with billing enquiries within agreed timeframes. Assist with any other finance tasks as required. Possible line management responsibilities. Essential Skills and Experience 5+ years of experience in a Credit Control / Accounts Receivable role. Track record of efficiently managing a debtors book and ensuring prompt recovery of debt. Strong accounting background and solid understanding of debits and credits. Strong communication & negotiation skills. Effective time management: work under pressure over month end and meet strict deadlines. High attention to detail. Organised, diligent and professional. Accomplished at dealing with people and managing relationships. Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel / Google Sheets. Confident using technology. Desirable Skills and Experience Knowledge and experience in using NetSuite or similar ERP. Previous experience in the Professional Services industry. Experience of credit control in a pan European environment. Good problem solving skills. Salary Range Basic salary (dependent on experience) + benefits. Full time basis is 40 hours per week.
