Permanent Position: Junior Accountant Company Overview: We are a leading provider of integrated water and waste management solutions. We are committed to providing sustainable and innovative solutions to our clients. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries Prepare and maintain financial records including journal entries, bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports Participate in the month-end close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures Provide support for audits and other financial reviews Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CPA certification is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for professional development and growth within the company Key Skills General Ledger Reconciliation, Accounting Software, Account Analysis, Journal Entries, QuickBooks, General Ledger Accounting, Accounting, Sage, Account Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Payable Housing and Travelling Allowance Employment Type: Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 If you are a driven and ambitious individual looking to kick-start your career in accounting we would love to hear from you.
