Max 1 week notice considered Role Summary InspiredXpert is looking for a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to support an exciting client engagement. This is a fully remote, short-term contract for a hands-on expert with proven experience delivering complex backend systems in fast-paced, client-facing environments. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, technically strong, and confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend systems using .NET (preferably .NET 6 or later). Build and optimise event-driven architectures using technologies such as Kafka . Work with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB to manage distributed data sets. Integrate with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Engage directly with clients and project leads to gather requirements, provide updates, and shape delivery strategy. Operate as a trusted consultant—proactive, accountable, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Contribute to technical decision-making, architecture reviews, and system improvements. Essential Skills & Experience 10+ years of backend development experience with a focus on the Microsoft stack. Expert in .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, and SQL Server. Hands‑on experience with Kafka or other messaging/event streaming platforms. Solid understanding of MongoDB or other NoSQL databases. Experience working in consulting, professional services, or IT project delivery environments. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently and leading delivery within a remote setup.
