Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and curricula for children aged (Specify Age Range, e.g., 2-5 years).
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being both indoors and outdoors.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction.
- Observe and document each child's progress, providing regular feedback to parents or guardians.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space.
- Collaborate with fellow practitioners and management to continually improve program quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or a related field.
- Proven experience working with young children in a formal childcare or preschool setting.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and age-appropriate learning methodologies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to fostering a nurturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a Johannesburg -based setting.
