Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

Job Description Ensure the smooth operation of equipment and systems essential for the packing plant production processes. Minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency to effectively contribute to the organization's success while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Install, maintain, and calibrate instrumentation equipment, including sensors, transmitters, valves, and gauges. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with above good communication abilities. Develop Standard Operating Procedures and Schedules and provide training. Diagnose faults or issues in instrumentation and control systems using diagnostic tools and techniques. Configure, program, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers. Ensure proper installation of control systems, wiring, and components according to technical specifications and schematics. Train operators and other team members on proper use and maintenance of equipment. Stay updated on advancements in instrumentation and control technologies through continuous learning. Qualification & Skills Diploma or Degree in Instrumentation / Automation, Electrical Engineering Electrical / Instrumentation Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act Minimum 10 years' experience within manufacturing. Knowledge of Palletizing, Packing and Wrapping equipment Suitable candidates will be contacted.
