About the Role As part of SENET's Electrical & C&I Engineering team, you'll develop and review electrical designs that perform reliably under challenging operational conditions. You'll take ownership of design integrity, cost efficiency, and technical compliance from concept to commissioning. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll collaborate with process, mechanical, and instrumentation specialists to deliver integrated, fit-for-purpose solutions for major mining projects. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Engineering Design Criteria and technical documentation Create, review, and approve electrical specifications, calculations, and drawings Ensure technical integrity of plant layouts and equipment selection Project Integration Coordinate with other disciplines to maintain seamless information flow Liaise with draughting teams to align drawing requirements and timelines Define scope of work and battery limits for procurement packages Procurement & Quality Prepare and review material take-offs (MTOs) and bills of quantities Conduct technical adjudications and supplier evaluations Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) Project Control Track and forecast engineering hours, budgets, and WBS compliance Contribute to progress reports and ensure schedule adherence Qualifications & Experience BSc, B.Eng, or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering ECSA registration as Professional Engineer / Technologist / Technician (or in progress) Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical design for mining or heavy industrial projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, ETAP and electrical design tools Experience with project management systems and engineering documentation control Exposure to 11 kV–33 kV reticulation systems or plant power distribution Location : Based in Greenstone Hill Why Join SENET?
