Overview Direct Marketing Specialist I – Johannesburg – Full Time. Posted Today | Apply before November 18. Responsibilities Oversee planning, execution, and optimization of direct marketing campaigns. Create targeted strategies to engage customers through email, direct mail, and digital platforms. Analyze customer data, segment audience, and tailor messaging to specific demographics, behaviors, and preferences. Collaborate with creative teams to ensure campaign materials align with brand guidelines and resonate with the audience. Manage campaign budgets efficiently – track expenses, allocate resources, and ensure cost‑effective execution. Regularly evaluate campaign results – analyze metrics, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to improve performance. Collaborate with other marketing teams (product, digital) to align messaging and create cohesive customer experiences. Focus on both retaining existing customers and acquiring new ones through loyalty programs, referral initiatives, and personalized communications. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., POPIA, ECTA, CPA) and protect customer information. Coordinate with external agencies and vendors – select partners, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance. Stay informed about industry trends, adopt new tools, and adapt strategies accordingly. Qualifications Minimum Qualification: Relevant B Degree. Experience: 3 to 5 years in a similar environment. Strong knowledge of campaign management, audience segmentation, creative development, budget management, performance analysis, cross‑channel coordination, vendor management, and innovation/adaptation.
