The role involves leading a talented team of PGA Professionals, shaping a culture of continuous improvement, and delivering exceptional coaching experiences to our engaged membership. Responsibilities Deliver high‑quality golf instruction through comprehensive lesson programs tailored to all skill levels and member needs. Develop and lead social, competitive, and instructional programming to enhance member experience and support retention. Mentor PGA Professionals in continuously developing their coaching skills using current teaching technologies and modern instructional methods. Provide visible, engaging leadership by maintaining a strong presence on the course and representing the club at PGA events. Collaborate on the development and management of operating and capital budgets related to golf instruction. Monitor lesson billing, performance metrics, and program participation to ensure service excellence and growth in instructional revenue and member engagement. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience as a skilled golf coach/instructor, preferably within a private club environment. Active PGA of Canada membership committed to ongoing professional development. Recognition at Zone or National level for achievements in golf instruction, teaching, or coaching. Strong leadership skills to mentor, motivate, and develop a high‑performing team of golf professionals. Proven ability to develop and sustain effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Compensation & Benefits This full‑time salaried position reports to the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf. The monthly salary range is $7,000‑$10,000, with commission included. A flexible schedule is required to cover weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive guaranteed retainer complemented by 90% of lesson revenue earned directly by the Head Teaching Professional.
