Job description:
  • Full Accounting function related to customs and exports
  • Preparation on monthly recons including age analysis
  • Perform export debtors function for manufacturing division and follow up on long outstanding receivables to ensure no bad debt occurs
  • Reconcile of export sales over and unders to ensure timely resolutions
  • Provisioning of monthly logistic costs accruals through a recon of accounts and supplier statement at month end
  • Perform regular stock counts at site to ensure accurate stock
  • Remain up tot date with IFRS requirements
  • Make necessary provisions in the accounts in line with IFRS
  • ensure necessary internal control systems are in place for process in area of responsibility.
  • Responsible for control over funds and assets of the company
  • Handle VAT calculations and submissions
  • Tax Planning -design methods of tax savings
