AFDA is seeking applications for the position of discipline lecturer in editing. We are looking for a committed individual with industry experience to lecture and support undergraduate and honours students.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Acquire and maintain an up-to-date understanding of the motion picture programme.
  • Develop lesson plans and lecture content.
  • Deliver lectures and conduct consultations.
  • Manage discipline students and ensure all assignments are marked and submitted on time.
  • Participate in quality assurance and marketing activities.

  • Adaptability to AFDA’s curriculum and values.
  • Collaboration with teaching staff.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to research independently and manage budgets.

Selection criteria:

  • Minimum requirement: honours degree.
  • Tertiary education work experience.
