Join to apply for the Senior Structural Designer role at Wood . Job Description Production of models and drawings on time and within budget. Clarity and accuracy of models and drawings. Knowledge and adherence to design procedures. Knowledge of and adherence to applicable standards and the company Drafting Procedures. Completion of error‑free drawings to sound engineering practices. Accurate completion and timely submission of timesheets. Active pursuit of excellent Health, Safety and Environmental performance, encouraging staff to meet or exceed the company HSE KPIs. Detailed design and production of structural models and drawings for plant construction packages in accordance with relevant standards and project requirements. Timely completion of drawings to schedules. Adherence to project man‑hour budgets. Compliance with company Standards and Procedures. Assist with training of junior draughtspersons. Qualifications Minimum of 10 years design/drafting experience, including 5 years in mining and minerals processing. Familiarity with relevant 2D & 3D CAD software and company Drafting Procedures. Experience using Aveva E3D preferred. Broad knowledge of construction and operations. Good understanding of technology. Experience with Process Plant design and layout. Understanding of other discipline requirements. Strong checking skills with ability to work unsupervised and focus on task completion. Personal Attributes Open mind to new ideas and concepts.
