Service Technician – Sishen Location: Kathu, Northern Cape, South Africa. Closing Date: 04 December 2025. What You’ll Do Provide specialised support for Epiroc machine systems, including automation technologies. Perform scheduled services and breakdown repairs on Epiroc RCS and equipment. Maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers. Coach Epiroc and mine site employees on operating, troubleshooting and repairing autonomous and other equipment systems. Perform fault diagnosis, root‑cause analysis and implement effective solutions. Promote Field Service work and other after‑market services and products to customers. Participate in Root Cause Analysis initiatives to identify recurring failures and collaborate with the Product Company to develop sustainable solutions. Liaise with Epiroc Product Company Engineering representatives to enhance product development. Assist with spare parts inquiries and participate in on‑site stocking activities as needed. Report to management regarding any issues affecting Epiroc equipment performance. What You’ll Bring In‑depth technical knowledge of Epiroc Surface Rotary Blasthole Drills. Minimum of 2 years’ mining industry experience. Grade 12 and a trade qualification (Millwright, Electrical, Mechanical). Advanced troubleshooting skills for Remote Control Systems (RCS). Experience with Trimble High Precision GPS systems. Expertise in automation implementation is advantageous. Strong proficiency in troubleshooting all drill systems. Who You Are Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse teams. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong planning and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and uphold Epiroc standards. Valid driver’s licence. Location Kathu, Northern Cape, South Africa.
